Mick is the founding MD of Film Four Distributors with more than 30 years experience in UK film distribution and acquisitions, during which time he released some 950+ films such as 'The Madness of King George', 'Secrets and Lies' 'Brassed Off' and 'Fever Pitch’.
Mick established Winchester Film Distribution in 2001 where as CEO of UK Distribution, he delivered a succession of successful films such as 'My Summer of Love', 'Lantana', 'The Man Who Sued God', and Kevin Costner's acclaimed 'Open Range'.
As Managing Director of the Works UK Distribution Ltd, he has overseen the acquisition and release of numerous hits including 'Two Days in Paris', 'Shortbus', 'Prairie Home Companion' and 'Mongol' and had an exclusive home entertainment output deal with Universal Pictures in the UK for some 20 years, releasing up to 12 films annually. In addition, he has recently overseen the completion of the UK’s first Hi-Def long-form music series for UKTV (13 x 1hr) featuring major artists such as Snow Patrol and Robert Plant. Mick, along with co-principal Martin McCabe is also the distribution columnist for international film trade magazine ‘Moviescope'.
Mick is currently the Executive Producer on ESCAPE FROM PRETORIA and A GIFT FROM BOB and was recently Executive Producer on Paul Schrader’s lauded comeback film FIRST REFORMED. He is a founding director of the London-based film production investment firm Omeira Studio Partners and the co-managing director of Enriched Media Group.
